Dewey

Mix

Handler: Mark Shambour

Dewey was left in an apartment with a gold fish at 6-8 weeks old. He was
surrendered to the humane society who, in turn, fostered him out as he was
very young to stay there and needed a lot of attention. We adopted him at
13 weeks old, had him neutered, and treated him for a mild case of mange.
He was the most difficult dog we ever had to raise. He grew into a canine
good citizen, agility, obedience, and fly ball dog. His most impressive
achievement was in becoming a medical alert assistant service dog. Dewey
has an alert that will curl your hair but a disposition that will make you
melt.
